I could never tell. I dated one guy in college who when we met (before we started dating) I thought oh he must be great in bed. He always had girls around him despite being average-looking and he was older so I figured more experienced. Nope, he sucked. Pounded away like a jackhammer and not much else.

He's comfortable in his own skin. Not awkward and easily embarrassed ( we all have those moments, but for some people it seems to be their default mode). He's not cocky. His touch, holding hands, kissing, etc. feels good.

I can tell before we get naked if we have a good connection - can he read me? Does he take cues for physical affection? Like someone who is all up in my business while I'm trying to drive probably can't read my physical cues. It's hard to explain.
