My arms aren't in great shape, I still wear t-shirts.

My mom is 70, she still wears t shirts and sometimes even sleeveless shirts.

I wear t shirts nearly everyday with matching jersey shorts. It's comfort and that's what I want.

not the poster you are responding to, but I have made peace with my upper arms.

I have not made peace with my hot flashes.. I probably won't wear a long or three quarter tee for many-a-year.

I'm thinking of replacing all my cotton t-shirts with underarmour stuff. I feel like I look old in my t-shirts. But I have about 30 of them for work-outs!

Gee, once I started having hot flashes, I started wearing t-shirts all the time! In fact, it's my uniform at work - a pretty, solid-colored, cotton t-shirt. Now that the hot flashes are diminishing I should really start thinking about wearing long-sleeved shirts again but I'm totally out of the habit.

Thanks for the laugh. The 50+ set I know, including my parents, still wear T-shirts - their upper arms all look perfectly fine.

I suggest some targeted weights exercises for your triceps, OP. It's not right that 50 year old upper arms should dictate your dress.

No, I'll be turning 50 pretty soon though. I know lots of 50 year olds who wear tees and even sleeveless tops. My arms aren't fab but they are alright.

I'm about to turn 50, and I wear a T-shirt almost every day (very casual workplace). My arms are fine, AFAIK. If not, I don't really care who's offended by my geriatric triceps.

Now that I am 50, unless they are long sleeves or 3/4 length , I won't wear them. Like short shorts. Tee shirts still in your wardrobe?
