Did you get DS tested for strep? It sounds a lot like strep to me.

19:49 here. Gack, the sore throat has returned! Not as bad as before but still. It had gone for 2 days and I thought I was on the mend. Guess not.

I would have sworn it was the flu, but my ds's fever hovered in the 100s and never went above 101, so the doc didnt test for flu.

My ds had it too. He had the fever/cough/sore throat/exhaustion for a solid 7 days, then he was very fatigued for the next week or so.

We all had it at my house. The worst was over after about 5 days, but the cough lingered for about 2 weeks.

Teen has it. Wicked sore throat for days, fever of about 102 first day, 99-100 days 2-3, cough etc. How long??
