Subject: Most Hipster Neighborhood in the DC area?
OP, I don't know if this is a serious question or not, but I do have to lol at the posters bringing out the "no hipsters" dc stereotypes like a college student who just arrived and whose knowledge of the city is informed by the west wing. Welcome to to town! (Cue 500 posts about how they're actually 10th generation native Washingtonians. Of course.).
The gateway arts district where I live is basically 100% hipster. neighboring ward 5 in dc is pretty hipster too.

If you are a hipster dad, you'll fit in fine anywhere EOTP. If you were a hipster singleton you'd have to be choosier.

Bloomingdale I think. Petworth has been overrun by families, so hipsters are departing. You'll have to keep chasing the trend east. If you want to get a few years ahead, go to Ivy City.

Eagle Rock or Highland Park, definitely not Silver Lake anymore, but perhaps Echo Park?
