My wife and I love each other and have a good sex life, but with young children, occasionally stressful jobs, etc., there are times where our schedules are off, one of us is horny for a few days when the other isn't. There have been times where she nudged me and I rolled away because I was exhausted.
You don't give much context as to how long the issue has been going on, if there's a real situation and this isn't just a hypothetical.
