I've found dressers in Frederick, but also in Olney at Gallery of Rare Treasures

Yes! We have found great unique pieces at Charteuse and similar places. We go every other month or so just to browse. Sometimes you find nothing but other times you score on the most beautiful vintage cars catalog ever!

I have gone to Frederick for dressers (and other furniture). I've found great, solid wood dressers for about what you would pay at Ikea. Art deco and Federal revival styles seem eslecially well priced. There are a number of large, multi-dealer antique stores as well as lots of smaller shops. I like to go up there and browse and frequently come home with a piece of furniture.

I have an SUV, but in a couple of cases bought things that wouldn't fit. Ask at the store. In one case, the dealer was willing to deliver for a modest fde. In another case, the store gave me the contact info for a delivery service they use.

And, Frederick is just a fun place to zpend the day.

This is the funniest thread. It is about a 1 hour drive. It's faster than getting a cupcake in georgetown.

We go to Gaithersburg if we want to buy furniture. Once you're there, Frederick isn't much further.

Hopefully you're not OP. No delivery if you travel that far for a dresser. Esp to a warehouse or antique store... Just use an SUV

Take the kids and go feed the calves at South Mountain Creamery. Maybe take in a Frederick Keys game. Make a day of it.
