They're insanely overpriced.
We had them out for a new door...did the whole sit down thing with them while they gave us their sales pitch. Got as far as picking out what door we'd want and everything. Their price was somewhere around $3000 for a new front door and a new storm door. They were the first ones we spoke to so we didn't know how that compared. We said we'd think about it and get back to them. He said that his price was only good if we bought RIGHT THEN.

We still waited.
Since we were only in the early stages of considering the door replacement, we didn't really look at much else. We just knew that $3k was too high and we weren't going with them. Over the course of the next two weeks, we got multiple phone calls and emails from the salesman lowering the price. In the end, the last email flat out said "tell me what price this needs to be for us to get this done." He'd already lowered his priced by a grand. We probably could have gotten him lower but at that point, we just said we weren't interested.
We ended up going through Home Depot and getting both doors put in for $1500 or so. Maybe a little less.
My parents got a quote fromt hem for window replacement and they were about double the estimate from the lowest price guy. They ended up going with the company who gave them a middle of the road price.
We had the same exact experience with Empire Carpet. Quoted something ridiculous and when you waffle, they keep lowering their price until you agree to buy. We bailed on them too and got our carpet through a local carpet store. Much better quality carpet for less money.
