You can download your raw data from 23andme and run it through Promethease ( www.promethease.com ) for $5 to get the medical info 23andme used to provide.

How can you get the results interpreted? 23andme will provide its analysis to a doctor?

I did 23andme a few years ago, so I already have the genetic stuff.

No, but I want to bump this up--because I'm interested in the same thing.

No, but would like to know the answer also. I got my results so just need them interpreted.

Knowing how this falls to about #1000 on my priority list, I think realistically I'll just wait for 23andme to offer the service. I expect it will happen in the next year -- they are working on getting FDA approval to do so.

I don't have an answer but have been meaning to start a 23andMe thread. Has anyone found any discounts to use?

Has anyone done 23andme and then gotten the results interpreted by someone for genetic information since 23andme is no longer allowed to do that (they can only do ancestry now). My understanding is that you can get the results interpreted to see if you have genetic predisposition for certain illnesses.
