Brooks Pureflow. Nike zomero also okay. For trails and rotten weather, Brooks cascadia...love love love these.

Just bought -- and now returning after logging one painful, awkward mile -- Hoka's. Yuck -- hope they haven't wrecked me. I like being closer to the ground.

Go to Pacers -- they took 45 min with me 2 years ago and helped me find a great running shoe. I still buy the same kind. Depending on how you run/your feet, they can also recommend inserts and show you how to lace your shoes.

Every foot is different... Don't take advice from the internet. go to a running shoe store and try out shoes. Find a store that has a treadmill or will let you test the shoes outside. No one can tell you what will be the most comfortable for your foot. But I like the mizuno wave riders
