I don't think I even really knew there were coonhound competitions! So after he told her he went to the coonhound competition, broke his phone, etc., then what? Did he break up with her? Blow her off? Or did she decide he was no good and break up with him?

Missing boyfriend (mb) told OP that he was going to Maine with Uncle J. When OP finally got in touch with Uncle J, he told her that he hadn't spoken to mb in 2 years. Told her that mb had basically been cut off from most of his family, and a bunch of other drama.

In the meantime, many DCUMmers found Uncle J's website and fell in love with him. Uncle J should expect a lot of new customers at his fishing business this summer, thanks to OP.
