My DS did the Minecraft Modding class in the fall. We concluded it was a fun class but it was not anything new for him. He was a little bored at the beginning of the session as he was not learning anything. He was also a little frustrated because he was not allowed to be creative and do his own project. The instructors were pretty much sticking to the book they were working from.

I see that these are offered at a number of the AAP centers. Anyone have any experience with them? They are just starting to offer them at my child's center and I was wondering if they are good (substantively and relating to kids).
