We waited for about 10 minutes for a table, and after the waitress took the orders - three ice creams and a soda, she came back a few minutes later and asked again if we're not ordering any food. I said no we're not, just want the ice creams and drink. She said sure she just wanted to make sure. Then it hit me that she might be hinting I should order food as this is a restaurant not an ice cream shop, and it's Saturday and people are waiting for tables.
Did I make a mistake? I did something similar at a Johnny Rockets but it was fries and soda only, and the waitress never said anything...
