I'm a paralegal but I have a bachelor's degree and have been working for two years (no paralegal certificate). I can tell you that almost every firm will value experience over a para cert or even a bachelor's.

I think it is a waste because you usually just need a BA to get a job as a legal or project assistant. plus the earnings starting out don't justify the cost.

Does it make sense to go to an expensive program such as at GWU? Please recommend good programs in the area.
