I was told this as well and can not figure this out.

My local IB school starts at 8:40 and ends at 3:15
My charter starts at 8:30 and ends at 3:30

So 4 days a week my children have 25 additional minutes for a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes
1 day a week our school does early dismissal and we leave 2 hours earlier

Each week my IB school has 20 minutes more of instruction.

I have kids at 2 different charters. Neither is making up the snow days. We were told they don't need to because their school days are longer and thus they have more than enough instructional time logged.
