Residents Understood. They will put together a design plan and you can implement and purchase the things yourself as budget allows. Very affordable and will work within your budget. The wait list for an appointment is long because they are a two person operations.

I don't know if she'd do Silver Spring, she's in Arlington.

Moving into a smallish apartment, and want to hire someone to help me with layout and furniture selection. Some challenges as the space is squarish and has to accommodate living / dining. I also want to move beyond Ikea furniture and into something pricier like Room and Board, so want to avoid mistakes.

Ideal person would help me put together a wish list between several stores, and I could purchase myself as funds available. I'm thinking an hourly or project based fee direct paid to the person, not someone who works on commissions.

thx for suggestions!
