I know a kid who is currently there. A great school and very selective. I can't comment on the tuition situation too much other than to say it is still significantly cheaper than NYU....40K as opposed to 70k....but you have the expenses of living in NYC which is steep!

The kid I know there is working his butt off, though. It is no joke when it comes to how hard they truly have to work. It's a great opportunity if you DC can get accepted.

Correct. And they don't guarantee financial aid for the full four years either. And they no longer guarantee housing for all four years. It winds up being just as costly as NYU, and is no longer the distinguished entity it used to be, when it was a free meritocracy.

+1 Same here - applied for BFA and didn't get it. It is a pretty amazing school. Probably the hardest private college to get into because it is free.
