Not pp but I wash mine with Mrs. Meyers in a mop bucket. I only paint with eggshell paint so it's washable. Flat paint isn't very washable. I wash all my doors down once a month and spot clean walls at that time. I wash ALL the walls once a year.

I've washed walls when moving out of a rental, but otherwise I don't, except for maybe some necessary spot cleaning e.g. in the kitchen.

Other than washing off random smudges...never. If they get that grungy it's time to repaint.

That said, I've heard pet dander (or maybe just cat dander?) sticks to walls so I might wash them down if I had a cat.

I don't as it sometimes changes the paint. If there is an issue, I just repaint.

I make the kids clean the spots. No set schedule. Just when they look dirty. Teaches them not to stick their dirty hands all over the walls.

Preparing for spring cleaning and was surprised in discussing with a friend.
One friend says walls should be washed at least once a year, preferably twice. Other friend says washing walls is outdated unless you burn wood in your home and you only need to spot clean walls.
What do you think/do?
