I'm 3/28 18:37 and the relevant prior posts. This is my first reply since 18:37.

Thanks for the notes regarding residency checks. Nonetheless, we will decline in a few weeks since the commute would be a problem if we move elsewhere. Doubtful but maybe. Plus, this way I can tell myself we are doing the honorable thing.

FYI, One of the Pre-K teachers just announced she's pregnant and due in the fall so the teacher for that class is up in the air.

Thanks for the info. The thing is that even if some families might not have been selected for a follow-up on residency that doesn't mean there isn't. THey don't follow up on residency, once you're enrolled and shown proper verification.
FYI, One of the Pre-K teachers just announced she's pregnant and due in the fall so the teacher for that class is up in the air.

Probably too risky. Daycare has a two-month cancellation policy. We could verify current residency today but not necessarily if there is a follow up check. Plus, it may turn out that we buy elsewhere. Doubtful, but I don't want to be pigeon-holed, and the resulting commute could be a beast.

Where will you be living on May 1? If you'll still be in your IB rental, you can use that address to register and buy yourself more time to buy a house.

Thanks for your response. Sorry to hear that you lost the bid on the house you wanted. It happened to us a few years ago, so I can imagine the feeling. Nevertheless, maybe is for the better. We love our current house Good luck!
