IMO, you won't need any videos. Trains are just too inherently cool, and there is plenty of exploring to do. Books and crayons would be good, though.

If you don't have one handy, you can make one from sheets of wax paper stapled together. Stickers will be remove able. My 2 yo goes crazy for markers.

Stickers, books to read, lots of snacks. Mine was pretty happy walking up and down the train and around the cafe car.

I recall they let people with young kids board first. They should make a call for that. Your child might find the train exciting. I think it is better than car travel. If the child needs a break take a walk to the snack car or walk down the entire train.

Tomorrow from 8-12:00. Nap is typically 12:00-2:30. I don't want to do videos the whole time. Other ideas? Don't want to carry too much stuff.

How early do we need to get to Union Station to get good seats on the train?
