In the master bathroom, the applicator goes back in the wrapper and then into the trash. I empty that trash can twice weekly, so it's never there for long, and the only other people who ever go into that bathroom are my husband and toddler. Any other bathroom anywhere, I put the applicator back into the wrapper, then wrap it up well with toilet paper before disposing.

+1! Plastic applicators create too much plastic waste.

Same. If I'm in another bathroom, I wrap in toilet paper.

Can't remember the last time I used a tampon. Yuck. I use soft cups and when I throw them away, I wrap it in tissue and carry it to the main trash can and bury it under some trash.

I either wrap it in the plastic or toilet paper.

It's appalled. I put them in the plastic wrapper/sleeve before tossing, but, um, it's HER house!!

Ladies... when you use a tampon and dispose of the applicator, do you just toss it in the trash?

I went to my sister's house and as I opened the bathroom trash to toss in a tissue, I saw an applicator sitting on top. I was appauled, because I ALWAYS put the applicator back in the wrapper, even in the comfort of my own home.
