Custom new cabinets and didn't want to child proof them with the plastic child proof mechanisms. All hazardous materials go under the sink. The latch was something my young kids didn't know how to work. By the time they knew, they knew to stay out. Just don't operate it in front of them. They'll learn sooner than later.![]()
