+1. There are several farm b&bs in the area. We've stayed at Country Vistas and the kids absolutely loved it. Beautiful property, clean and comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfasts with the freshest eggs, great hosts. The kids loved feeding the animals, gathering eggs and riding the horse. A wonderful alternative to the usual hotels.

Country Inn & Suites right across the street from DW.
There are a lot of super cute VRBOs in the area, stone cottages, historic homes, some houses with pools etc. We would have done one but we were only in town for one night.


This books up quickly. they are reserved for weddings almost all spring so book early.

We ended up staying at the Fullton Inn which had a boat theme going on. Kids loved the duck pond and playground. Super close to DW, walkable to eating/shopping.

Doubletree in Willow Valley has a fun indoor pool, room service, nice breakfast buffet but I do not remember seeing any balconies. It is a short drive through pretty countryside to Strasburg attractions.
Country Inn & Suites right across the street from DW.
There are a lot of super cute VRBOs in the area, stone cottages, historic homes, some houses with pools etc. We would have done one but we were only in town for one night.

We found a private house on vrbo.com. It was nice to have a kitchen and the place to ourselves.

Eden resorts but don't stay in the main part (stay in one of the townhouse like buildings) because when we've stayed in the main part it has been noisy. But the townhouse like places are great.

This place is great. The Eden resorts hosts every wedding, graduation, prom in the area...so I found it noisy. We had a two room suite and the front room was basically like sleeping in the hallway. Country inn is accross the street. Great if you have a napper, and really quiet if you get room facing the back.

We've stayed at both Eden resort and the doubletree. Both are nice, family friendly with good pools. Our rooms t Eden was huge with a nice separate living room area. They are each probably 15-20 min away from DW. Have fun!

We like the country inn & suites right across the street. The suites have real bedrooms with doors, not just two separate areas like some places. There is also a nice lobby and a breakfast room and little pool.

Two families with 4 young children (ages 1-4 1/2). We would like to be close to DW, but would also love to have rooms next to each other where at least one has a separate living area/outdoor area/balcony where adults can hang out and relax after kids go to bed. Planning to go in June. Any special activities at hotel for kids would be a bonus. Thanks!
