Reactions? How are kids of color doing at the HRCSs? The article mentions Stokes.
Not African-American, but know some folks whose children go to Stokes, and a couple of people who work at Stokes. I found the comments about Stokes being "insensitive" to African-American children" to not match with what I have heard about the school. The school leadership is predominantly African-American, as is half the student body. But that was obviously their perception, from their vantage. My guess is that others wouldn't agree.
