I've had the same thing. I lost weight and it went down but then went back up again. My doctor told me to cut out green tea because that elevates it. Cut it out and the count was down again,

This exactly. DH saw a couple doctors, lots of tests, no real conclusion. He has a healthy diet and is active, drinks some but not a lot. His doctor isn't concerned but his life insurance is more expensive.

So the EXACT same thing happened to me. It just went down on its own.

DH has non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. It's the result of having Celiac & not knowing it for years. The doctors aren't concerned.

I had this same result after a bout with a sore throat and aches and pains (no fever, no strep). I had taken plenty of Tylenol and other pain relievers so that was most likely the reason.

I had this after I gave birth. It was fine 6 months later, but in that time I went to many specialists. Did you take any lactation supplements, like teas? That could have raised them apparently. Hopefully they will be back down to normal.

alcohol can be the cause.

My mom went through this recently. 3 months ago had elevated liver enzymes. Cut down on drinking and fatty foods, lost some weight, and was recently retested with results all clear. Even then, her doctor said slightly elevate wasn't a concern.

I had that a year and a half ago. My doctor (naturopath) wasn't particularly concerned. She asked if I had done or eaten anything to stress my liver and I couldn't think of anything other than some Tylenol (or advil) PM. I get all my blood work tested annually and this past fall it was fine.

Slightly elevated is not serious. I once had slightly elevated enzymes because of a long run the day before. My doctor retested a few months later. Since yours waited a year it sounds like he's not concerned. It sounds like the concern is fatty liver, a chronic issue, but I think that shows up on an ultrasound. Perhaps hew as concerned that you are at risk.

a year ago during a routine physical, I was told that I had slightly elevated liver enzymes.

They sent me for an ultrasound of my liver, which showed no scarring or problem.

They had me vaccinated for hepatitis to protect me.

And, told me to lose some weight. I had just had my DD and was at my highest weight. I've since lost 20 lbs.

I just booked myself for another physical to check in.

Anyone know much about this issue?

I read that for some reason drinking cofree can have a positive impact on this.

I'm still working to lose some more weight.

This scares the crap out of me and I can't seem to get a Straight answer about how serious this is.

Anyone else have this? What do you or have you done?
