I think you should do this, my good friend came out transgender a few years ago and it opened my eyes to what she had been going through in her life before she transitioned. I don't think the average person really understands unless they know someone personally.

Also, I think you are brave for even considering it considering how rude people can be.

Op here. You should of course only do what you can/want. I know it is not your responsibility to educate and you are under no obligation to explain yourself to anyone. I started this thread so you would know you had support if you decide to do so. There will always be assholes to stir shit and as threads like Pf go on they feel empowered as decent folk abandon the field. But most people are just ignorant/curious. And some of us are supportive. You're not alone

The website is most active from about 8 am to 10 pm. Consequently, I am normally available to watch over the site during those hours. Weekdays are better than weekends.

Just give me a heads up and I'll let you know if the time is bad for some reason.

Someone in the planet fitness thread said they are transgender and considering doing an ama but are worried about attacks. When is the best time when you would be available to actively moderate/process reported posts? (Weekday/weekend, day/evening, that's what I mean)
