Really? So you think I should completely ditch the sandwich idea?
We're also going to have chicken wings and empanadas, so if I ditch sandwiches, Im not so sure the nuggets will even be necessary...

+1 to the 6 footer sub idea (usually you can order them half turkey, half italian or whatever) and i did not know that subway makes those so thanks pp!

many kids like pretty plain food, I'd probably just make an assortment of turkey and ham sandwiches myself. Or go the chick-fil-a route.

You just gave me an idea to do something other than pizza for DD's b-day party coming up.
How old are the kids?
It's a 1st birthday, but for family and friends so kids will be aged 1-12. We'll have "heartier" food for the adults, but I wanted to have about 25 sandwiches on hand for the kids. I'm actually surprised that everywhere is still $8-10/pp even if your buying a large quantity. But I don't want to cheap out on quality...

I took my kids to Jimmy John's over the weekend and they really liked it. They offer "slims" sandwhiches which don't have any sauce or veggies. That's the ticket for my kids.
I noticed that they will do party sized subs and lunch boxes.
You just gave me an idea to do something other than pizza for DD's b-day party coming up.
How old are the kids?
