We put a combination of DCPS WOTP schools for 1st grade, but ones like Hearst and Shepherd and yes, Murch (which does have spots) as opposed to Janney, which doesn't have spots and we're not terribly interested anyway due to the demographics. We also included Cap City as the lone charter.

We are 50/50 on whether we stay put just one more year or move if we do not get a spot anywhere. Trying not to look into housing until we get results back and see where we stand. We rent, so it can be a quick process if we take the "move" route.

We like our charter, but have wanted dual language. This will likely be the last time we try.

Like our current charter, but might as well see what we get. Not sure if we would leave our charter for any of these

Curious why you have IT between DCB and MV? Really not picking on you as we have IT #1 (sad we have to preface most things on DCUM with that). It just seems you have Spanish as #1 (DCB) then skip to MV.

Mostly because the Mundo Verde commute would be very challenging. And Inspired Teaching was the first open house we ever went to and we have a soft spot for it. Plus, our chance of Mundo Verde seems a bit better this year so we want to make sure we are on the Inspired list.

We only put down MV. We are otherwise happy at our dual language DCPS.

I put in applications for Oyster, Bancroft and Creative Minds. Happy at the school we're at (DCPS, not highly regarded) but wouldn't mind a better feeder pattern than we have right now. Plus I've always loved Creative Minds.
