Could anyone with FA knowledge enlighten us as to why the don't notify perspective student at the same time of their acceptance.

Same situation. We're wondering whether the acceptance we just received today implies that financial aid we requested also will be approved (without which our DC won't be able to attend), or whether we just need to sit tight to see how that part plays out.

Lol. I got the FA letter but no acceptance. I'm going to assume that the acceptance letter will arrive on Monday.

Acceptance and FA all in same packet . . . Grateful for the generosity of the school DC will be attending.

Seriously though--what is the logic. There is a game behind it, I'm just not sure what it is...

Are the notices for FA usually sent by email or mail? Anxiously waiting so we can hopefully move forward.

We receive an acceptance letter for our DC but apparently the FA notification is sent separately. Why do they do this? We really can't make any decisions until we have received notice, it is agonizing.
