OP I don't think most folks on this forum will readily understand what you consider to be an "athletic recruit". For example, we never had any contact at all with the HS coaches where my DC was accepted, but it would be obvious from DC's application and her interview that DC will play at least 1 and probably 2 varsity sports. I would assume her status as an athlete helped in her admission although she was not an "athletic recruit" in the sense that college athletes are recruited (multiple contacts with coaches, provide game film, stats, etc.). Perhaps you are interested in whether the student is a "likely varsity athlete" rather than an "athletic recruit"?
