She seems like a lovely person, and the few articles I've read about her and her husband make them both sound really sweet.
The *only* thing that bothers me is that when she went to ESPN, she adopted that Jessica Simpson/Carrie Underwood/Barbie long hair, loose curls look. It drives me nuts that most (but no, not all) women in sports reporting doll themselves up so much. Czarniak's hair is super thin and fine, so there's no way she achieved that look without extensions and some pretty serious effort. It's just kind of a bummer, because she seems like a nice, pretty down-to-earth person who has a talent and strong drive and I'd like to believe that we can teach our daughters that you don't have to look like Barbie in order to be successful in a male-dominated professional (especially one that promotes so much female sexualization as it is).
(Caveat, I can't get the recent photos to load, so maybe she's not doing it anymore, and if that's the case, props to her.)

I worked with Lindsey's dad -- he would tell me she had an internship somewhere, I would think, "Yeah, good luck with that." Little did I know.
But I've met her as well, I've seen her work on ESPN, and I have nothing but good things to say about her. Good for her.

I used to have drinks with her when she was in DC (we had mutual friends). She seems to be a lovely and genuine person. I'm happy for her success both personally and professionally.
