Wednesdays are the best.

After some playing around with it, I telework on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. I don't like bringing my computer back and forth, and I like having two days in a row to get all my office stuff done. Everyone comes in on Wednesdays, so I have all my meetings then, but I don't have to worry about collecting any materials I may want for the rest of the week at home that day.

I telework M & F because my office keeps core hours T, W, Th.

I telework Mondays and Fridays and if a holiday falls on a Monday, then I can switch my day to Tuesday.

Monday & Wednesdays....

I do Wednesdays and I really like that break in the week. My boss does not allow Fridays, and we reserve Tuesdays and Thursdays for in-person meetings -- that's when everyone is in the office. If I had a second day I'd make it Monday (the only day left) but with a single day I do like Wednesday. It's especially good for household tasks because I can easily do mid-week laundry, grocery shopping, or cooking, which means I don't have to do so much on Sunday nights.

I like to bunch mine together in a row so I feel like I'm really getting the benefit of no commute, rather than always transitioning from office to home to office to home.

I don't mind going into the office on Fridays- no one's around and I can wear jeans.

Tuesday or Wednesday and Friday

Traffic is lightest on Fridays and Mondays, so I telework on Wednesdays.

More federal holidays fall on a Monday. So if you choose Monday as a telework day, you are not getting the biggest bang-for-your-buck on telework.

I prefer to telework on Mondays and head to the office on Fridays. A lot of people telework on Fridays, so the traffic and my commute is much easier on Friday than other days. Conversely, the traffic on Monday is almost always miserable, so I telework, sit in my pjs, drink coffee and work while others sit in Monday morning traffic.

I telework on Fridays, as I typically have the least amount of meetings in the office. Despite my agency pushing telework, senior leadership likes to see faces in meetings - not voices on a phone.

I had a Tuesday and Friday telework schedule and it felt like more work going in and out between days. What have you found with your schedule? Which days are best/worst for you?
