Just chiming in as an alumnus (granted from 2002) that I liked it there and even as a mediocre/good student there I was exceedingly well prepared when I went on to college. I still have some connections there and from what I understand it's only improved in the last decade.

Daughter attended 2011-2015. Her siblings went to elite, expensive, private schools. Had not seriously considered Seton but we loved the Open House. Daughter chose to attend and I hoped for the best. She was very shy and didn’t know anyone going there. She immediately felt at home and loved it there. Excelled academically and found sports and extra-curriculars where she did well and made close friends. School had high expectations for work and behavior. Daughter is now a freshman at a very good university and she is surprised at the lack of preparation and poor attitudes of many students there. Earned a 4.0 first semester – she was very well prepared for college work. I have no reservations recommending Seton to any girl’s family looking for a great high school.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. It's hard because the other school we are waiting to hear from next week gets more "airtime" on this board and elsewhere, but I think Seton might be the best fit for my child based on everything I've seen and heard. Thanks again!

My daughter was there 2008-2012 and loved it. She especially welcomed the nurturing atmosphere in grades 9-10. She outgrew it a tiny bit by grades 11-12, but it just made her ready to spread her wings at college. She was active in NHS and sports and made lifelong friends. The staff is outstanding.

My daughter likes Seton, but my wife and I love it for her. She has really blossomed there in ways I don't think she fully appreciates. Very supportive environment with challenging academics. She is on the track team and in the Lead program both of which have given her a lot of confidence. Folks don't talk much about Seton on this blog, but it's a very nice school. Your daughter will thrive there.

My daughter has been accepted to Seton and I'd love to get any insight from current parents. I have several friends with experience with the other school we are waiting to hear from, but I don't know anyone currently/recently at Seton. We loved a lot about it and most of my questions/concerns have been addressed at this point, but would love to hear about general experiences.
