+1 Interested in Heather Hills

You might look at Glenarden Woods ES as an alternative, although it's a TAG-only school as well, requiring a lottery. It's not a home school. Both my kids attended GWES; I have a fifth grader there now.

Heather Hills is not your home school. You need to find out what your neighborhood school is.

I would like to know as well. The only thing i know is that is a TAG school only. Your child must be Talented and Gifted identified. You have to enter into the specialty lottery to even get a chance at getting in. They have a new principal and there test scores are good. However, i do not hear a lot about this school. This may be a good thing if you are accepted through the lottery. Unsure about behavior? amount of homework? curriculum rigor?
