That month I got pregnant.
That month I also started temping (more on this in a sec) and using preseed, but inserting with an applicator and using as lube. We stopped oral sex for me (because saliva can kill sperm) and using traditional lube (which can also kill sperm). I had already been using OPK's.
More on temping if you're interested -- Temping turned out to be important because temperature indicated I did not ovulate the first time I got a positive on the kit. I ended up ovulated after when I would have expected my period. I'm really glad I was temping because 1, I would have stopped using the OPK and assumed I had ovulated when I hadn't. 2, I would have taken a pregnancy test when I expected my period and been confused when it was negative and I still didn't get my period. 3, I would have been very concerned when things weren't going the way they should with the baby based on last menstrual period (like, for example, when they couldn't find a heartbeat with doppler, which they should have been able to do based on LMP dating, but was too soon based on actual ovulation dating).
It was probably the pre-seed that did it. I swear by that stuff!
