But they do build in some flexibility. For my first round of IVF everything went exactly as planned and we stuck to schedule. The second time around, things were not 'quiet' enough at the baseline ultrasound so they had me take a few days more of BCPs.

You need to make sure your nurse knows you were off a day (if you don't wait to hear from her). Its not the day of the cycle that counts, its the lab schedule, which has been made in advance. Depending on your clinic, they may or may not be able to accomodate your adjusted schedule.
Not sure I agree with it having to do with the lab schedule... people stim shorter or longer than planned all the time which would also change the lab schedule on short notice.
Op how many days of bcp do you have? I think SG likes 21 but I've heard some other clinics protocols use 10-14 days. So I think you're probably ok but check with your nurse if it'd reassure you.
Nope. Has everything to do with the lab schedule. Ask your nurse.
So are you saying I stimmed a day longer than planned in order to accommodate the lab? That's no different than OP starting the cycle a day later than planned. Sorry, I still disagree with you.
So I guess 2+2 = 5. One cycle I was started on day 7. The next cycle I was started on day 3. Asked the nurse, she said it has to do with the lab schedule. They understand that people Stim for different lengths of time. If you don't understand it, ask your nurse.
