Surely it would have been a newsworthy story if she had died. It is no less a newsworthy story that, with guardian angel help, she lived.

This is why I think re-districting needs to occur in Alexandria. It would help balance each school and outspoken parents would drive overall improvement.
At times though I think even the upper middle class is lulled into complacency in our public schools. Activism requires strength and strength is in numbers.
