My problem was that all those "oooooh" moments were based on having watched Breaking Bad rather than making a first episode that had interest of its own.

I am not 100% but I think it was his brother who was a partner but is on "sabbatical" while he hides in his house avoiding electro-magnets or whatever his phobia is about leaving the house and allowing the outside world in... It seems Jimmy struck out on his own trying to follow in his brothers footsteps after having a troubled past

I love Bob Odenkirk and think he's doing a great job being not only funny, but also very sad and introspective. He's giving the role of Saul lots of dimension that we didn't see in BB. I also love seeing the beginning of his descent into the criminal underworld, while still retaining his humanity. I actually kind of have a crush on him.![]()
