I am taking the statement at face value. When they say that no other children were involved in the child's death directly, I take that to mean that no other children were involved in the child's death directly. Not to mention that, just using common sense, they would not have had time yet to fully investigate whether any bullying had been going on.

Untreated mental illness
Bullies
Shitty home life
Struggling so much that he couldn't see a way out.

It's not like those who jump in front of a train are committing suicide because of an issue with a train. It has to do with 1. Making sure they are Found/noticed and 2. Impacting others.

Let's not jump to conclusions that this kid was bullied

You don't know the circumstances here. All we can say is that for a kid that young to be able to follow through with this, his head and life must have been one mangled mess.
