She's crazy. At least it was an email so you can close out of it and vent immediately.

I would love to have a daughter and grandson to shop for--your mom doesn't realize how lucky she is. Life just isn't fair.

Oddly enough, she really doesn't do this often. I think it has to do with the fact that her friend now has a granddaughter and they are super into this stuff and quote judgemental and opinionated. My go to is like what you said "thanks, I'll look into it" but that doesn't stop her from continuing to send stuff.

My mother is crazier than yours! And I have not killed her yet, but I have come close...

OK, it's not a competition
Your mother IS annoying.
Don't even bother to open her emails.

Just a vent. Sent my mom an Amazon wish list per her request for DS' birthday. It's pretty much full of Melissa and Doug Stuff as well as some Plan and Hape products. DS is obsessed with the toy kitchen and foods he got for Christmas so I figured adding on to his collection ofood was a good idea. Now my mom is non stop sending me articles, websites, etc about how M&D isn't as good of quality, it's not as safe, etc. In the end of her latest email, she asked why I didn't care about DS' safety.

Right now I'm avoiding her because I think I'm going to snap at her. It's not like I'm buying him plastic stuff from China. I just don't have the time nor energy to invest in caring about all the stuff she keeps sending me.

So thank you for letting me vent. I think I need to go ice my jaw now after clenching it so much after the last email
