When I was driving through Maine I stopped at this potter's workshop at the side of the road. Everything was hand made and gorgeous.
I don't know if they are dishwasher safe or not.

I don't know where else to post this, so I'm putting it in this forum. I broke one of my husband's favorite mugs the other day (he's had it since before I knew him) and wanted to get him a nice new hand-made mug for Valentine's Day. I'm in Silver Spring. Any ideas for a place to shop between now and Thursday? There used to be a great store called Finewares in Takoma Park but it's closed now. I'm thinking of something like that. Hand-crafted housewares.
