I won't get into my practical suggestions because it would basically mean repeating the details, but I'm sufficiently concerned about the OP and her home situation that I will re-post my suggestion of "The Gift of Fear." OP, it is totally your right to ask Jeff to delete a thread you started. I don't know you and from an outsider's perspective the info you provided does not seem like TMI. What worries me is that you probably think it is TMI for someone reading inside your home. Given what you said about needing to tip toe around your DH's feelings, I just want to wish you and your baby Godspeed and for you to please take care of DS and yourself.
