I was going to suggest something like this, but if it doesn't fit, you could always give up the closet space for now and put a piece of furniture in front of it.

You could try to angel the crib out of the upper left corner and put the glider between the crib and the ottoman.

You could put two pieces of furniture along the right hand wall and put the glider near the window in the upper left.

Be sure to anchor armoire to the wall. It is a hazard when the infant starts walking. My cousin had a bookcase fall on her as a child. She went to the hospital and fortunately didn't have any permanent damage.

Yup, switch the crib and changing table and then put them in the corner in an "L" shape. Put the changing table on the top wall all the way over until it is almost touching the corner of the bed which you move up the right-hand wall as far as possible. As the changing table is shorter, then it should only extend about halfway across the top wall and you will have plenty of space by the window for the glider.

While you feel that the bed needs to be centered, that is only true if you have one usuable space in the room. if you think of it as two usable spaces, the right-hand space would be the "bedroom" and the left hand space would be the "sitting room" and where you will have snuggle time in the glider for you and baby.

That's a good idea, to put the armoire in the corner. I'll try that. And it's tall, it's like a double doored wardrobe with 3 drawers at the bottom. So it can't be used as a changing table. I don't think DH would even consider selling it at this point but it seems to be messing up everything.

I am having trouble fitting my glider and ottoman set. I made a picture in paint that is basically to scale, what you see is how it is. It's a smallish square room with a window, double door closet, and of course an entry door on the bottom right. In the room is a tall armoire, crib and changing table. I didn't even want the armoire because the room was too small to fit everything but DH insisted because we bought all the furniture as a used set and he didn't want to pass up a good deal. Now, as predicted, I'm just frustrated. Anyhow, below is the pic.

Is there any other way I could move this furniture around to fit the chair? Only option I can think of at the moment is to scoot the crib far right and then sit it between that and the window but the crib being off center will drive me nuts. Am I lacking creativity or am I just SOL?
