Is it too much to hope for that they will hire someone with ties to the community? The best GNS teachers live in the neighborhood and have a direct interest in seeing the school do well. When will PG learn to stop hiring people from MOCO or A.A. County who come with a bias against PG kids?

The note they sent home was cryptic but she is being promoted within the county. I'm not sure what her new position is going to be but I'm hopeful that she will make a significant contribution to PGPS.
There is a community meeting at the school on Feb 5th at 6:30 for parents/community members to give input on what they would like to see in a new principal. I would really encourage anyone living in the schools boundary to attend.
I really, really hope they find someone dynamic who will keep the school going in the right direction rather than some PGPS crony.

Just saw the principal position advertised. Is there a story there, or no?
