Yes. Daughter went on the pill at 16 and I showed her how to use a condom on a banana and broom handle. She is 18 now, getting ready for college, and still hasn't had sex for the first time.

Well, since DD is still on our insurance, I guess yes, we do provide her BC =)
She went on her own to get on the pill while in college, totally supported her (at that time it wasn't law for insurance to pay for the pill, so she went to a pro-rated clinic for students)
DH gets condoms in his Xmas stocking each year =)

Yes. I pointed out where Planned Parenthood was to my oldest when she was a tween, and when she was first interested in a boy as a teen I pointed it out again, asked if she needed birth control, and told her if she didn't want to tell me, she could go by herself, with the boy, or a friend. We basically had this talk once a year. When she was fooling around with a high school boyfriend I bought condoms and put them with her toiletries. When she went to college (she was 16.5 then) I gave her the address and phone number of the nearest Planned Parenthood to her college, and pointed out she could buy condoms at any drugstore, Target, the supermarket, etc.

Same for my son.

We didn't provde BC, but when we found 17 yo DS had a box of condoms in his nightstand we were some mixture of horrified (to know he was sexually active) and relieved (to know he was being responsible). We'd talked to him years earlier about birth control and STDs, btw.

DD is on the pill for complications related to her cycle. Had that not happened early, I would've made sure she knew he could come to me and we could get her an appointment with my dr. at any time to get on the pill or discuss any concerns she might not want to ask me or might want a second opinion on after talking to me.

I don't have sons, but if I did I can't imagine any reason why I wouldn't make sure they had access to condoms.

Absolutely. But my daughter will likely inherit my endometriosis, so she'll be on some sort of BC early.

My son isn't old enough yet, but I'd definitely provide condoms.
