+1 - I was allergic to egg whites as a child, but could still eat the yolks without a reaction.

If dairy is ok, you can replace the egg with ricotta. Yum.

We use "the food allergy mama" recipe (her two cookbooks are must haves) and Cherrybrook Kitchen mix is delicious.

Owner of an egg-allergic kid here. We do Bisquick with one or two flaxseed "eggs" (one T of ground flaxseed to 3 T of water or other liquid).

PSA: Separating the whites from the yolks works for recipes that only call for one part, but is not a safe option when preparing food for someone who is actually allergic to all or part of the egg.

Yes, of course. But it's the best I can do.

Does it some white only stick to the yolk?

I use the Arrowhead Mills Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix - it is naturally egg free.

You can buy egg replacer at the grocery store or natural food store. That's what you use for baking instead of eggs.

Pancakes are pretty easy to replace egg. Applesauce, banana, or flax egg. In all these, the pancakes will be a little denser but still yummy.m

commercial egg replacer is great too. I always have some on hand.

Has anyone had luck with using Bisquick mix for an egg allergic child? What do you recommend in the recipe instead of the 2 eggs it calls for?
