I really love the comforter I got from Company Store - I buy down alternative, it shifts less.

Usually I can figure out acronyms pretty easily, but DINK has me stumped. What does it stand for?

Someone posted this question a while back and I jotted down the suggestions (it was for sheets and towels) b/c I want to buy a king bed and new linens when we move to a new house:

Linens:
Matouk – sheets and towels
Serena and Lily – sheets
Pine Cone Hill – sheets and towels
Sferra
Yves Delorme (McLean)
Gracious Home (NYC, online)
Macy’s Hotel Collection
Garnet Hill
Stores: Valerieanne in Vienna, linen store in foxhall square

What types of materials are you looking for, and what is your typical sleepwear? That's a factor, because high end sheets aren't always better to begin with, and unless you wear very little or nothing to bed, cheaper and lower thread count is usually fine.

Bloomingdales has awesome bedding. go to Tyson's and check it out.
Horchow is also very high-end.
Tuesday Morning has a lot of high-end bedding, but something is always a little jacked-up with their stuff.
my bedding set is from Bloomingdales, but my sheet, which are the best sheets ever, are from Costco.

I am redoing our master bedroom and am looking for recommendations for good stores and brands for sheets, duvets, etc. I'm willing to pay for high-end brands; I want it to look and feel good.
