At two, you can sleep with a blanket.

If a kid is wearing fleece pjs, I don't think a onesie is needed at all unless the room is really cold. I think my sister would do tight Jammies under fleece ones because her house was cold.

Wearing a lot of layers can be uncomfortable, and kids can be esp fussy and sensitive to it.

My son is three and I put him in tshirts under sweatshirts or thicker long sleeve shirts with lined pants.

At night, he wears close fitting jammies and sleeps with a blanket or two. He usually wakes up a little sweaty. Could you be overdressing/over layering? Remember you are now in the toddler stage, not baby stage.

Congrats for having an eating disordered baby.

Get a life. By 3, mine was in 5t shirts and size 4 pants. She's thin, just tall. We're both 5'6.

Please tell us what your disorder is? Terminal bitchiness?

I just ordered packs of Fruit of the Loom plain white undershirts in 2T/3T from Amazon. I think they're in Target too. They seemed stiff at first but after a few washings, they are soft and comfy. Toddler likes them.

We do a short sleeve summer style PJ shirt underneath the fleece PJ's. So she has 2 layers on her upper half.
I like the thermal type long sleeve shirts too.
This year I bought DD some camisole tops from Target, Its cotton and works as an undershirt either during the day and at night.

How is that helpful to the OP? I'm assuming she has already ascertained that her son doesn't fit into 24mo size anymore. Boys tend to be bigger than girls.

My kid wears cotton 2 piece pajamas with a 2 sizes too big fleece footie pajama suit over them. This combo keeps her plenty warm in her cold bedroom since she hates blankets.

If it's really cold you could just put a sweatshirt over his pajama top. You could also buy fleece pajamas.

I don't know if they come in 2T, but I use the kimono style Gerber ones. They come in both short and long sleeve (got 'em at Target).

I always layered him at night with a long sleeve onsie, but he is now in 2T and they don't make them and with potty training around the corner don't really see the need to buy more. WHere can you get good undershirts? I don't see any long sleeve and the only short sleeves ones I see look big and thin, but I could be wrong as I'm looking online.
