I always wondered why so many parents drop off their kids at school. I can understand walkers getting a ride in bad weather, but everyday there is a super long line of kiss&ride cars backing up through the neighborhood.

When I drop my son at the bus stop I have only a few minutes to get my other child to her school. Walking won't work most days.

I drove to the bus stop one day a week in the fall when DS had a sport class right after school. We didn't have time for him to go home and go from there.

Maybe the kid has a mobility issue.

I take them on my way to work so its just easy. I also like seeing them actually get on the bus; just a little extra piece of mind for me. I also crame all the other kids in my car when its pouring or freezing (ie: you kid OP).

When my kids were in middle/high school, the buses sometimes did not show. I could see bus stop from my house. A couple of times, I had to drive my kids to school because there was no bus. I could only take so many of their friends, though.

I used to drive my kids to the bus stop so that I could then haul ass to work.

Mind your own business.

Maybe mom is on her way to work and wants to be sure her kid gets on the bus before she leaves. Buses have been know to be late or not show.

Plenty of people in my neighborhood do this. I assume after the bus come they all get into their cars and go to work. It drives me nuts because they park in the intersection and it makes it hard to see as I am driving out of the neighborhood on my own way to work.

There is a mom who drives to the bus stop every day. Doesn't matter what weather it is, she drives there every day. How far away from the bus stop can you possibly live that you need to drive there? There are sooooo many bus stops in the nearby area that I cant see why anyone needs to drive to any bus stop. I'm thinking she is using somebody else's address so her kid can go to this school because her assigned school isn't a good one or something.
