+1 That was my first thought. Though if they go with the style of your house, I do think they're nice.

FWIW, before I clicked on the link, I saw that others called them fussy. The picture I had in my head of what they would like when I did click the link was spot-on.

i don't think this is too fussy. It looks traditional and nice to me. I think they'd go well in a kitchen with paneled kitchen cabinets (not shaker or flat front) if that makes any sense.

I think it means that they don't have the contemporary clean lines that are popular today. Dated, old fashioned, ornate. They aren't Pottery Barnish enough.

I think that they are beautiful and if they go with the furnishing style of your house that's what is important. What is in today will be dated tomorrow so get what you like.

I don't think they are super dark. And I think they are cherry, but I didn't study them very closely. She just happened to mention where she got them
