DW camps out here, but I thought it was mostly on childcare until I was turned on the relationship forums. We weren't (and aren't) getting along so thought I'd see if she posts and comments, and sure enough. Been reading a couple months and then very recently read a confession about a short term emotional affair that got physical briefly. Panicked. Pumped her for details and... wasn't her. But I was convinced, spent an entire sleepless night thinking about everything (from who it could be and other gory details, to what I might do/say, what does it mean for our relationship, kids, etc), and am still kind of emotionally off balance.

But, I think the experience (convinced DW had an affair but didn't) will actually help save our marriage (not sure what would have happened had I confirmed it was her). But, it wasn't fun at the time and YMMV.

Yes, I am. I'm doing cognitive behavioral therapy to deal with it. DH and I both overcame our World of Warcraft addictions and we'll handle this, too
